Interesting that the second generation GR Yaris now comes with a turbocharger anti-lag system. The anti-lag system is turned on when selecting Circuit Mode. This mode comes as an option. There is also a new 4 Wheel Drive Track Mode that now activates an electronically managed variable power delivery between front and rear drive from 70:30(front/rear) to 30:70(front/rear)

The automatic comes with semi-automatic shift mode with the gear shifter and paddles. The paddles operation for upshifts is to pull it while to get downshifts is to push it forward. ToyotaGR says this is influenced by their motorsport experience with the rally car's semi-automatic paddle shifters

They have also stiffened its chassis by covering more areas in welds by 13% and adhesive points by 24%. Suspension from the first generation 2022 GRMN Yaris's Circuit Pack is now standard on this second generation variant with 25% stiffer springs and anti-roll bar. Dashboard design updated to improves driver reach to dashboard so it won't be a struggle to reach the controls for those that chooses to run racing harnesses. The driver's seat has also been lowered by 25mm for improved visibility coupled with the raised rearview mirror by moving it further back

By moving the brake lever toward the front of the vehicle compared to the standard position, the distance between the lever and the steering wheel is closer, enabling quicker operation. Also, by increasing the vertical angle, the lever is easier to pull, reducing operational burden

Furthermore, the bumper sides have outlets to effectively exhaust heat from the sub-radiator and automatic transmission fluid cooler. An opening at the lower edge of the rear lower garnish allows air from under the floor to escape, reducing aerodynamic drag and improving maneuverability and stability, as well as exhausting heat from the muffler

In addition to an update kit designed to increase maximum power output to the same level as the second generation GR Yaris, the service is to offer an exclusive emblem that signifies the upgrade.
